As I said in Part One about my lunch on Akasha, the Fall Charter Yacht Shows are an opportunity for Charter Yacht Brokers to meet new crews, reconnect with favorite crews and closely inspect the yachts. It’s also a chance for the crews to show off their boats, themselves and their culinary prowess to the Charter Yacht Brokers. A lunch aboard one of these fines yachts gives me, a Charter Yacht Broker, a chance to experience a bit of what my charter clients will be served for the week they are on board for the charter. Chef Marley Beckedorf put on an outstanding array of delicious treats that left me totally satisfied but not weighted down – an important balancing act when you’re feeding guests who want to eat well and still be active after meals. As always, I only book yachts that I’ve personally inspected and have met the crew and I was absolutely delighted with both on Ma Ha.
The starter included three different Sushi pieces that simply melted in your mouth. They were:
Tuna cucumber hoisin/ Salmon avocado cucumber/ Cucumber with a salmon avocado top.
The Main dish was a pan fried soy ginger Chilean sea bass on a crisp scallion rice cake and a bed of chili garlic Bok Choy. Served with a citrus sauce. All the tastes came together to create a delightful sensation for the taste buds.
Dessert was a chocolate pudding in a wafer cup with fruit and candied pistachios. Words can’t describe the glory of this final dish. I think the picture says it all!
All in all, it was an awesome dining experience. Every lucky guest aboard Ma Ha will be wined and dined and treated like royalty.
